About Me
Tonja Santos (she/her) has worked caring for birthers and families as a Nurse Midwife for almost 20 years. She is a Midwifery educator and leader in a large full-scope midwifery practice.
She leads Racial Disparities and Health Equity initiatives at her home institution with the goal of improving maternal and infant outcomes through clinical, systemic and cultural change.
In her non-working time she parents two children, 11 and 14, and enjoys taking care of plants and knitting.
